Talking about the design of Mahindra XUV400, the company has not limited it to 4 meters, due to which it looks very attractive. The electric SUV is based on the XUV300 and the boot space also seems to be huge. Like other EVs, it gets a closed grille and the headlights have been kept similar to the petrol model. There are many cuts and creases in it.
It has been given a copper colored X pattern and a different roof is also seen in it. It has been made available in five color options – Arctic Blue, Everest White, Galaxy Grey, Nepalese Black and Infinity Blue, along with a Satin Copper colored roof. At the same time, its interior has been kept the same as the XUV300.
There will be no shortage of features in this electric SUV, the XUV400 has a sunroof, dual zone climate control, large touchscreen infotainment system, with smartphone connectivity, 7 airbags etc. Talking about the size, its length is 4200 mm, width 1821 mm, height 1634 mm and wheelbase of 2600 mm has been given.
The battery of Mahindra XUV400 comes with IP67 water and dust protection. The car offers 310 Nm of torque, while its power has not been disclosed. This is a 39.4 kWh battery. The company claims that this electric SUV offers a range of 456 km on a single charge. It has single pedal technology and three driving modes – Fun, Fast and Fearless.
The electric SUV accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in just 8.3 seconds and reaches a top speed of 150 km/h. It gets a boot space of 378 liters. The company says that it will come with 60+ connectivity features, smart watch connectivity.
This electric SUV can be charged up to 80% in just 50 minutes with a 50 kW DC charger, while the 7.2 kW charger can charge from 0 to 100% in 6 hours 30 minutes. It has been given suspension MTV-CL and FDD for better ride quality, it is the first electric SUV in which this technology has been given.
Mahindra XUV400 is going to be the company’s first electric SUV and it has been introduced there. This SUV of the company is going to come with ample range, fast charging and a lot of features and equipment, now it has to be seen when the company brings it.
