XUV300 Turbosport: Engine
The 1.2-litre, three-cylinder turbo petrol engine of the XUV300 TurboSport produces 130 Bhp and 230 Nm of torque. Its torque is up to 250 Nm with overboost function. The turbo-petrol unit is mated to a 6-speed manual gearbox. Compared to the existing 1.2-litre turbo-petrol MPFI engine, the new engine gets 250bar GDI (Gasoline Direct Injection) fuel system which improves performance and mileage.

The Mahindra XUV300 TurboSport can accelerate from 0-60 km/h in 5 seconds. The XUV300 also gets a mild-hybrid start-stop system to improve fuel efficiency and reduce CO2 emissions. Mahindra claims that the new turbo engine can give a mileage of 18.2 kmpl.
The new engine produces 20 Bhp more power and 30 Nm more torque than the older 1.2-litre turbo-petrol unit, making the XUV300 the most powerful compact SUV in its class. The company will continue to sell both the turbo-petrol engine models along with the 1.5-litre diesel engine model.
XUV300 TurboSport: Features
Talking about the design, the design of the new TurboSport model is similar to the standard model, but to give it a different look, red inserts have been used in it at many places. It gets a gloss black grille up front with the new Mahindra logo, while the front bumper and central air intake get a chrome red insert. It also has a black out wing mirror.
Mahindra is offering the XUV300 TurboSport in four new color options, including dual-tone bronze with black roof, white with black roof and black with white roof, as well as bronze as a monotone option.
On the inside, the dual-tone black and beige interior theme has been replaced with an all-black theme that contrasts with silver accents on the dashboard, center console and steering wheel. It also gets new chrome finished pedals.
Talking about the features, the top-spec W8 (O) trim of the XUV300 gets an electric sunroof, projector headlamps with LED daytime running lamps, 16-inch alloy wheels, dual-zone climate control, 7.0-inch touchscreen infotainment system. , auto headlamps, wipers and leatherette upholstery. Safety features include 6 airbags, front and rear parking sensors, all-wheel disc brakes and ESP with hill start assist. The company has started booking and delivery of TurboSport variants from October 10, 2022.
