Mahindra XUV 3XO Features: Mahindra has opened bookings for its new sub-compact SUV, the Mahindra XUV 3XO, starting today (May 15). The response has been phenomenal, with 27,000 bookings received within 10 minutes and 50,000 bookings within 1 hour. Booking can be done online or by visiting the nearest Mahindra dealership, with a payment of Rs 21,000.
Car delivery will start from May 26.
The company has announced that it has already manufactured over 10,000 vehicles and has the capacity to produce 9,000 vehicles every month. Deliveries will commence from May 26, and the company aims to expedite the process to ensure prompt delivery to customers. The Mahindra XUV 3XO is an updated version of the previous XUV 300, featuring a new design, enhanced performance, revamped interior with new features, a more potent engine, and additional safety features.
Competitive Landscape:
In the Indian market, the XUV 3XO will compete with vehicles such as the Tata Nexon, Maruti Suzuki Brezza, Hyundai Venue, and Kia Sonet. The XUV 3XO offers nine variants – MX1, MX2, MX2 Pro, MX3, MX3 Pro, AX5, AX5 L, AX7, and AX7 L, with prices ranging from Rs 7.49 lakh to Rs 15.49 lakh (ex-showroom). It is available with three engine options: 1.2-liter turbo petrol (111hp), 1.5-liter turbo diesel (117hp), and 1.2-liter turbo direct injection petrol (130hp).

The XUV 3XO boasts Mahindra Lighting, leather seats, a new center console, and rear AC vents. In terms of safety, all models come equipped with 6 airbags, rear disc brakes, Electronic Stability Program (ESP), and ISOFIX mounts. Higher variants offer additional features such as electronic parking brake with auto hold, hill start assist, hill descent assist, and level 2 Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS), a first in this segment.
