Mahindra’s Bolero has been an SUV which has been at number one in terms of sales. Mahindra Bolero has sold 11,045 units last month which is 128 percent more than last year’s 4843 units. At the same time, there has been an increase of 215 percent in the sales of this SUV as compared to 3506 units in the month of January. For the past few months its demand was going down but now the situation has become better again.
Mahindra Thar has been at number two, its sales have registered an increase. Thar SUV has sold 5072 units in January, which is 78 percent more than last year’s 2842 units. There was a shortage in the delivery of Thar but now the company has made more deliveries in the last month. At the same time, an increase of 9% has been registered against 4646 units of January 2022.
Mahindra XUV300 has sold 4511 units last month, 3174 units were sold last year. Huh. 4550 units of this SUV have been sold in the month of January, against which there has been a decrease of 1 percent in sales.
This is followed by Mahindra’s new XUV700, which has sold 4138 units, registering a growth of 0 percent in sales as against 4119 units in the month of January. The company has fulfilled its promise to deliver 14,000 units of this SUV by January, to inform that its bookings have crossed 1 lakh and the company is also working on its new variant.
Mahindra Scorpio has been ranked fifth with 2610 units sold last month. Last year, 3532 units were sold, a decline of 26 percent. On the other hand, there has been a decrease of 14 percent in comparison to 3026 units in January. The company is now working on its new generation model, which is being seen continuously being tested.
After this, 147 units of Marazzo of Mahindra, 27 units of Alturas, 12 units of e-Verito, 1 unit of KUV 100 have been sold. The company’s sales have improved slightly compared to last year, while it has been good compared to January 2022. Now the company will have to take better steps to speed up the delivery. Mahindra has sold 27,563 units of vehicles in the month of February 2022 which is an increase of 79 percent as compared to 15,380 units in February 2021. On the other hand, an increase of 39 percent has been registered against 19,860 units in January. Mahindra will have to eliminate the chip problem before bringing the Scorpio, otherwise the company will have to keep a long waiting period like Thar, XUV700.
