Mahindra & Mahindra has increased the prices of its vehicles by 2.5 percent.
Mahindra & Mahindra: Indian automobile company Mahindra & Mahindra has increased the prices of all its models. The company has increased the price of its vehicles by 2.5 percent. After the hike, the new prices have come into effect from today itself. The company said in a statement on Thursday that after this increase, the showroom price of its different models will increase from Rs 10,000 to Rs 63,000.

The company said that it has had to take this step due to the increase in the prices of important commodities like steel, aluminum. Mahindra & Mahindra said that it is trying to bear the bulk of the increase in commodity prices on its own and it will have little impact on the customers. Mahindra & Mahindra sells Thar and XUV700 models. The company said that it is trying to inform the customers about the price hike through its sales and dealer network.
Maruti Suzuki has also increased the prices of its vehicles
The country’s largest car maker Maruti Suzuki India (MSI) also announced an increase in the prices of its vehicles earlier this month. The company has increased the prices of all its models citing increase in input cost. In the regulatory filing, MSI said that in the last one year, the cost of the company’s vehicles has been adversely affected due to increase in various input costs. (Input-PTI)
