Mahindra’s flagship SUV XUV700 has made a special record in its name. In just 29 months, more than 1.50 units of this SUV have been sold. This feat has made the competition even tougher for other SUV cars in the mid-size segment. XUV700 was launched in August 2021. Since then, this SUV is continuously getting good response from Indian customers. XUV700 competes with SUVs like Tata Harrier and Hyundai Alcazar.
In May this year, Tata Harrier had touched the sales figure of 1 lakh units. However, Harrier was launched in 2019. Whereas Mahindra XUV700 was launched in 2021, and according to media reports, it has sold 1.50 lakh units. If seen from this perspective XUV700 Has achieved this much sales in less time than Harrier.
Mahindra XUV700 sales record
Mahindra XUV700 had completed 1 lakh sales in just 21 months. At the same time, 50,000 units were sold in 12 months. By November 2023, Mahindra had sold 1,45,888 units of XUV700. This is only 4,112 units less than Rs 1.50 lakh. It is estimated that in the first three weeks of December, XUV700 would have completed the sales figure of 1.50 lakh units.

XUV700 SUV comes with 5 and 7 seater options. Its 30 variants are sold in the market. It gets the power of 2. liter turbocharged mStallion petrol and 2.2 liter mHawk diesel engine. 6 speed manual and 6 speed automatic options are available for power transmission. All-wheel drive system is available in AX7 and AX7L.
Features of Mahindra XUV700
The XUV700 has a dual 10.25-inch screen for infotainment and instrument cluster with a modern design. Amazon Alexa virtual assistant has been provided for voice commands in AdrenoX interface.
Apart from this, features like Android Auto, Apple CarPlay, wireless charger, panoramic sunroof, dual-zone climate control, auto booster headlights, leather upholstery, electronic parking brake and more are included. The SUV also features Sony’s custom-built 12-speaker setup with 3D surround sound.
This car is equipped with Advanced Driver Assistance System (ADAS). This increases the safety of the car. This car has received 5 star safety rating in the Global NCAP crash test.
