Mahindra Electric Mobility claimed that Alfa Cargo and passenger CNG vehicles can generate additional savings of up to Rs 4,00,000 in 5 years on fuel cost compared to three-wheeler diesel cargo. Mahindra Electric’s new Alfa Passenger DX BS6 CNG gives mileage of 40.2 km/kg while Alfa Load Plus gives mileage of 38.6 km/kg.

The vehicle’s 395-cm3 water-cooled engine is the largest in its class and promises a long life, the company said. This engine is capable of producing 23.5 Nm of torque, while it churns out 20 Nm of torque at low speeds. Mahindra Electric Mobility operates more than 800 dealerships across India. The company is providing convenient maintenance to the customers of the Alpha range.

Mahindra Electric Three Wheeler now available in rural markets also
Let us tell you that only last month, Mahindra Electric has partnered with Common Service Center (CSC) to increase the reach of its electric vehicles in rural areas. With this partnership, Mahindra Electric will make its Treo and Alfa range of electric vehicles available in rural markets.

Mahindra Electric is recruiting local entrepreneurs at select CSC centers. These entrepreneurs will inform potential customers about Mahindra’s electric three wheeler vehicles and motivate them to buy the Treo and Alfa range of vehicles. Apart from this, customers will also be informed about government schemes being run for electric vehicles.

Earlier this year Mahindra launched its Treo three-wheeler range in Maharashtra. Mahindra Treo has been made available in Maharashtra at a price of Rs 2.09 Lakh (Ex-showroom). Mahindra Treo is based on the company’s NEMO platform. This three wheeler generates 8 kW of power and 42 Newton meter torque.

In Mahindra Treo, the company has used an advanced lithium-ion battery of IP65 rating. It has a battery life of 1.50 lakh km and is a maintenance free vehicle. Mahindra Trio can be charged with a socket of 15 amps. It saves Rs 60,000 per year as compared to a diesel cargo.
