Preparations for Maha Kumbh Mela 2025 in Prayagraj are almost complete and it is going to start from January 13, which will continue till February 26 and about 40 crore devotees are expected to reach there. Adani Group led by Indian billionaire Gautam Adani is also ready to provide its services in this grand event and has joined hands with the International Society for Krishna Consciousness (ISKCON). According to reports, through this, Mahaprasad service will be provided to about 1 lakh devotees every day.
Prasad will prepare 2500 volunteers
Adani Group, which provides services from home kitchen to port, has joined hands with ISKCON to provide Mahaprasad service in the Mahakumbh Mela-2025, which is going to start in Prayagraj, Uttar Pradesh. According to the report of Business Today, in this service, around 1 lakh devotees arriving here every day will be fed Prasad, in which 18,000 sanitation workers will also participate. This Prasad will be prepared every day by 2500 volunteers in 2 kitchens equipped with hi-tech facilities.
What is included in the Prasad?
Talking about the dishes included in the Prasad Seva organized by Adani Group and ISKCON in the Mahakumbh, this Mahaprasad will include roti, dal, rice, vegetables and sweets. This prasad will be served to the devotees on eco-friendly plates made of leaves. For this, 40 assembly points have been earmarked, where Prasad will be distributed to the devotees. Not only this, Adani Group has also made special arrangements for the disabled persons, elderly and children coming to this fair, which also includes arranging golf carts for them.
Apart from Mahaprasad Seva, Gautam Adani’s group in collaboration with Gorakhpur headquartered Geeta Press has printed about 1 crore copies of Aarti collection. This Aarti collection includes bhajans or aartis dedicated to Lord Shiva, Ganesha, Vishnu, Durga-Lakshmi and other deities. This collection will be distributed free of cost to the devotees in the Mahakumbh Mela. If reports are to be believed, around 40 crore devotees are expected to arrive in Maha Kumbh 2025.
Mahakumbh will start with full moon bath
Mahakumbh in Prayagraj will start with Paush Purnima Snan on 13 January. Apart from this, if we talk about special baths, there will be Makar Sankranti bath on 15 January, Shahi Snan of Mauni Amavasya on 29 January, while Basant Panchami bath will be organized on 3 February and Maghi Purnima bath on 12 February. After this, this Mahakumbh will conclude with Maha Shivratri bath on 26th February. It is noteworthy that Maha Kumbh is at the top among the biggest religious events in the world, because devotees from all over the country and abroad come to Prayagraj to take bath in the holy confluence of Yamuna, Saraswati and Ganga rivers. Apart from Prayagraj, Kumbh is organized in Haridwar, Ujjain and Nashik.
