Electric commercial vehicle manufacturer Oiler Motors introduces the Hiload E-Cargo three-wheeler with a capacity of 688kh in the market. Under the company’s operating model, EVET offers a comprehensive end-to-end solution, Magenta said in a statement.
Under this partnership, 100 EVET e-cargo three wheelers have already been deployed in Bengaluru. The fleet is for mid-mile and last-mile delivery, servicing e-commerce, food delivery, pharma and other last-mile logistics clients.
Oiler Motors will cater to vehicle delivery and service support, while EVET, through its full stack technology and ecosystem, will oversee customer deployment and last mile transportation. Major cities for deployment of e-vehicles include Hyderabad, Chennai, Bengaluru.
Magenta pointed out that under EVET, the company is already operating over 400 electric cargo vehicles using the electric mobility platform. The company had earlier this year announced its target to deploy and operate over 2,400 electric vehicles in its fleet in Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Mumbai and Chennai.
According to the company, the EVET has witnessed a 10-fold growth since its launch in the Bengaluru market in the last financial year. The Magenta e-mobility firm was funded by HPCL in 2018. Magenta is also supported by the Microsoft Startup Program.
