A surprising case has come to light in Sagar district of Madhya Pradesh. Here the Income Tax Department team raided a house. During this period, four crocodiles were recovered from the house. This matter was informed to the Forest Department, after which the crocodiles were rescued. A case has been registered in this matter under the Wildlife Protection Act.

Income Tax Department officials said that this raid was conducted on the premises associated with Rajesh Kesarwani. Rajesh is a beedi manufacturer, building contractor and former BJP councilor. However, no Income Tax Department official made any comment on the recovery of crocodiles.

Head of Forest Force of Madhya Pradesh Aseem Srivastava said that a case has been registered in this matter under the Wildlife Protection Act. Health checkup of crocodiles is being done. Complete information about this matter will be given to the court and further action will be taken as per law. However, Aseem Srivastava did not clarify how many crocodiles have been recovered and whose house it is. Sources say that a total of four crocodiles were found in the house.

The Forest Department has started rescuing the crocodiles and sending them to a safe place. Officials say that the condition of these crocodiles is normal and they will be shifted after the health checkup is completed. After this incident of finding crocodile in the house, sensation spread in the surrounding area. There was discussion among people as to why crocodiles were kept in the house. This matter is being investigated.
