Citroën C3: Citroën has recently announced that the company has started exporting its made in India Citroën C3 for sale in the global market on 31st March. These vehicles have been sent for sale in the ASEAN and African markets through the CBU route. ASEAN countries include Vietnam, Indonesia, Thailand, Cambodia, Malaysia, Singapore and the Philippines.
Citroën C3 to be launched in July 2022
The company launched this car in July 2022 last year. The car is one of the three models built under the CMP model, which was specially made for the Indian and South American markets. Recently, this car has been awarded the World Urban Car of the Year award.

The company offers a 1.2l petrol engine in this car, which generates 82hp power and 115Nm torque. For transmission, the engine is mated to a 5-speed manual gearbox and the second engine is a 1.2l turbo petrol engine, which generates 110hp power and 190Nm peak torque. It is mated to a 6 speed manual gearbox. The company claims a mileage of 19.8 km/l for the petrol engine and 19.4 km/l for the turbocharged petrol engine.
There has been an increase in the price
Recently, Citroën has increased the price of its C3 by Rs. 18,000. Now it can be bought for a price ranging from Rs 6.16 lakh to Rs 8.25 lakh ex-showroom.
The French carmaker has also launched its electric variant, which has been named the EC3. This electric car can be bought at an ex-showroom price ranging from Rs 11.50 lakh to Rs 12.43 lakh.
