The Lotus Electre is based on a brand new electric premium architecture that provides a flexible platform to accommodate multiple sizes of batteries, motors and smart driving technologies. The Lotus Electre is the second electric car owned by Chinese car maker Geely to come with several advanced technologies.

It has been given advanced technology like rear side view camera and lidar sensor which has been installed on the front and roof of the car. It is a 3D laser sensor that produces 3D images of the vehicles around it. Lotus claims that the Electre EV is a high performance hyper electric SUV that can accelerate to 100 kmph in less than 3 seconds.

A 100kWh battery pack has been installed in this SUV. Once the car is fully charged, it can run for 600 kilometers. It can be charged to run up to 400 kms in just 20 minutes. For this, a 350kW charger has also been provided with this car. This electric car has five doors and is equipped with an all wheel drive system.

The design of the Lotus Eltre is extremely sporty and aggressive. It has a coupe design roofline. It is the brand’s first 5-door production car and also the most “connected” Lotus SUV ever. The company is planning to produce this model in China.
