In the proprietary application Sonos S2, a mention of a new item was found, which the manufacturer, apparently, is preparing for release. This is a mini subwoofer that the company calls Sub Mini. On the home theater settings page, which describes how to connect a second subwoofer, it says that the main subwoofer can be a first, second or third generation Sub model, but not a Sub Mini model, which is only suitable for the role of an auxiliary subwoofer. To make it easier for the user to identify the model, there is a hint that describes the Sub as a “large, square subwoofer” and the Sub Mini as “smaller, cylindrical”. Just in case, let’s clarify that the Sonos catalog does not yet have a product called Sub Mini.
