Logitech G Handheld Gaming Console Leaked Images

Logitech G and Tencent Games announced earlier that they will launch a handheld cloud gaming console later this year.

Images of the Logitech G handheld gaming console have been leaked online, suggesting that it may be powered by Android. The newly deleted images were shared by tipster Evan Blass and showed a white device with a Nintendo Switch-like form factor and X/Y/A/B buttons. Logitech G, a Logitech brand that primarily offers gaming hardware, announced earlier this month that it has partnered with Tencent Games to “launch a cloud gaming handheld later this year.”

9to5google was able to retrieve the images before they were removed from Evan Blass’ Twitter handle. The publication reports that the “Logitech G Gaming Handheld” features a Nintendo Switch-like form factor. It can be available in at least white color option. The images show black thumbsticks, large bezels, a D-Pad and X/Y/A/B buttons, in addition to a few more buttons. There are four trigger buttons and possibly a memory card slot.

It is also expected to support Bluetooth and Wi-Fi connectivity options. The handset can be operated by Android. The Logitech G Gaming Handheld screen displays Google Play Store, Xbox Cloud Gaming, Nvidia GeForce Now, Steam, Chrome, and YouTube in navigation panes.

Earlier this month, Logitech G and Tencent Games announced that later this year they will launch a handheld cloud gaming console “combining Logitech G’s hardware expertise with Tencent Games’ software expertise.” . According to the announcement, the device will support multiple cloud gaming services, and both companies are collaborating with the Xbox Cloud Gaming and Nvidia GeForce Now teams.

“Logitech G and Tencent Games share a common vision for the future of gaming and are committed to ensuring that the quality of experience comes together seamlessly to deliver on the exciting promise of gaming from the cloud,” the companies said.
