As part of the Mobile World Congress (MWC) in Barcelona, Lenovo demonstrated new concepts – a laptop and a smartphone with stretchable screens. So far, there is no talk of mass production, the company does not name any specific dates.
When folded, the laptop is very similar to a regular laptop, but if you activate a small switch on the right side, the screen will slide up.

At the same time, the display is equipped with motors that stretch it. The result is an almost square display with a diagonal of 15.3 inches and an aspect ratio of 8:9. When folded, the resolution is 2024 x 1604 pixels, when unfolded it is 2024 x 2368 pixels.
Another Lenovo clamshell device shown at MWC is the Motorola RIZR smartphone. Like expectedthe company announced some of its characteristics.
