Lenovo Legion Y90 gaming smartphone and Lenovo Legion Y700 gaming tablet have been officially unveiled. However, the price and availability of both the devices will be announced at Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2022 on February 28. The company has revealed the design and specs of its third-generation gaming handset and tablet ahead of the event. Lenovo Legion Y90 sports a 144Hz refresh rate display and is powered by Qualcomm’s flagship Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chipset. The handset comes in three different configurations and its top-end model comes with a RAID 0 configuration with SSD and UFS 3.1 storage. Lenovo Legion Y700 packs a Snapdragon 870 chipset under the hood. It houses a 6500mAh battery that supports 45W fast charging.

The Legion Y700 gaming tablet is offered in 8GB+128GB and 12GB+512GB configurations. As mentioned, the pricing and availability of the gaming smartphone and tablet is expected to be announced by Lenovo at MWC 2022 on February 28.

Lenovo Legion Y90 – Lenovo Legion Y90 sports a 6.9-inch E4 AMOLED (2,460×1,080 pixels) display developed by Samsung, which delivers a peak brightness of 1300 nits, 144Hz refresh rate and 388 pixels per inch (ppi) Comes with key pixel density. The phone comes with 3,520 mm square heat dissipation area with vapor-chamber or VC cooling.

The display supports DC dimming, HDR10 and Dolby Vision. Lenovo says that the tablet gets VC cooling along with an 8,500 mm square heat dissipation area. The new Lenovo Legion Y700 gaming tablet is powered by the Snapdragon 870 SoC along with up to 12GB of LPDDR5 RAM.
For photography, the Lenovo Legion Y700 packs a 13-megapixel rear camera sensor and an 8-megapixel selfie sensor. The tablet comes with up to 256GB of UFS 3.1 storage. The storage can be expanded via microSD card (up to 1TB).
Connectivity options include Wi-Fi 6, MicroSD, Bluetooth v5.1, 3.5mm audio jack, OTG, USB Type-C port. The tablet packs an inbuilt 6,550mAh battery that supports 45W fast charging. Other features of the device include a JBL speaker system and dual microphones with Dolby Atmos support. The dimensions of Lenovo Legion Y700 are 207.1×128.1×7.9mm and weighing 375 grams.
