Lenovo introduced the flagship laptop ThinkPad X1 Extreme

Lenovo has announced the expansion of its line of ThinkPad laptops. A new device called ThinkPad X1 Extreme Gen 5 based on Alder Lake and GeForce RTX 3080 Ti will be available on the market in the near future.

Designed for maximum performance, this work laptop features an Intel Core i9 H-series (Alder Lake) processor with up to 125W of power consumption. The new product supports the latest NVIDIA GeForce RTX GPUs for laptops – we are talking about the RTX 3080 Ti. The system can be equipped with up to 64 GB of DDR5 memory and up to 8 TB of SSD disk storage.

Lenovo claims that an advanced cooling system with a large evaporative chamber, two fans and a liquid metal thermal interface can improve performance by up to 10%. The 16-inch 16:10 displays will be available as panels with up to 4K resolution and 165Hz refresh rate, Dolby Vision and touch support. The Lenovo ThinkPad X1 Extreme Gen 5 will be available in June, starting at $2,049.

Other new additions to the lineup include the world’s first 14″ mobile display with a 16:10 aspect ratio and a 2240×1400 IPS panel, and the lightweight ThinkBook 14s Yoga Gen 2 and ThinkBook 13s Gen 4 laptops. The display will be available in July for $299 and laptops in April starting at $849.
