TT Games is famous for its LEGO platform games based on a wide variety of series – for some time now, new games from the unusual series were released every year. However, the process stalled a couple of years ago when LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga, announced in 2020, was stuck in production hell. When will the popular series return to the screens? As it turned out, very soon.
Warner Bros. Games has announced the release date for The Skywalker Saga and released a surprisingly spectacular gameplay trailer for the long-awaited new product. So, the project, the development of which began back in 2017, will be released on all current platforms (from PC to Switch) on April 5th. New heroes are relied upon for pre-orders : buyers of regular editions will be given Obi-Wan Kenobi, and the Deluxe version promises as many as 7 additional sets of characters.
As it turned out, the delay was due to internal problems of TT Games. Shortly after the release of a fresh video, Polygon published a large material describing the difficult working conditions in the company in colors. It turned out that some of the problems were caused by the new NTT engine.
