Hyundai Venue was launched in India in the year 2019 and only after the launch, this car was included in the list of bestselling sub-compact SUV cars. After some time, when the Kia Sonet was launched, the sales of this car were affected and the sales of Venue started registering a decline. Now the Venue has made a tremendous comeback in the sales charts, surpassing the Kia Sonnet in the sale of December.
According to data from the Society of Indian Automobile Manufacturers (SIAM), 10,360 units of Venue were sold in December 2021. On the other hand, only 3,578 units of Kia Sonnet were sold.
More than 2.5 lakh units sold
Hyundai Venue has been the choice of customers from the year 2019 till now. So far, more than 2.5 lakh units of this car have been sold and still this car is generating good sales figure for the company.
Recently, the Hyundai Venue facelift was glimpsed on the roads of South Korea during the testing and after that an artist released the Venue facelift render image, in which the information about the front and rear look of this compact SUV has been made public. According to the render image, the upcoming Venue facelift will be heavily inspired by the company’s premium SUV Hyundai Tusso and it will get a brand new grille at the front. After that, there will be no significant change in the positioning of the rest of the headlamps and turn indicators. The front bumper will see wider central air intake and new alloy wheels along with LED taillamps at the rear, among other things. Along with this, big badging of Hyundai will also be seen.
