LG has patented an unusual laptop design.
As you can see in the images, the main feature here is two touch panels on the sides of the keyboard. These are not displays, but touchpads. One can be used as a touchpad, and the other, for example, to control various functions, including adjusting screen brightness, volume, and so on.
Of course, placing two such panels at once in such places, even if these panels are not particularly large, requires increasing the width of the laptop. And the patent images show us a device with an ultra-wide display.
As always, the presence of a patent does not mean that such a device will come out. And even if it does, it may end up looking differently.
