So, according to the source, the car is equipped with a 16-valve VAZ-21127-95 engine, the power of which in a serial car will be 120-122 hp. Of course, the sports version will differ not only in the engine.
The Granta Sport will also get all-round disc brakes and the brakes will be taken from Vesta. In particular, we are talking about single-piston calipers with a diameter of 54 mm at the front and 38 mm at the rear. The diameter of the brake discs themselves will be 280 mm.
The car will receive wheels of dimension 195/50 R16, it is also necessary to highlight a shortened steering rack with 2.7 turns of the steering wheel from lock to lock. The shock absorber struts, the shock absorbers themselves and the springs will be more sporty produced by Lada Sport. Also worth noting is the receiver from the 1.8-liter engine, a new intake and sports seats with more pronounced lateral support. The start of sales of the new Granta Sport is scheduled for May-July this year.
