New KTM Bike: The KTM 390 Duke motorcycle is a great bike in itself with strong power, weight balance, price and looks. For 90% of the world’s motorcycle enthusiasts, they would definitely like to have this bike in their garage. Now KTM has given a facelift to this pocket-friendly powerful bike and its pictures have been leaked online ahead of its official launch. The pictures of 2024 KTM 390 Duke have not been leaked for the first time, even before this bike has been seen several times during testing, but such clear pictures have come to the fore for the first time. Due to which we get to know more about the design and instruments of this bike.
How’s the design?
Even though some changes are being seen in its design, still its look resembles a KTM product. The 2024 Duke 390 gets orange colored wheels with a shade of blue on the tank. KTM may also introduce the option of white wheels in it. Also, the subframe has been changed, which is very similar to the 790 and 890 Duke. It gets new alloy wheels and front disc rotors. These rotors are now mounted directly on the alloy wheels. It is likely to retain the USD front forks. The engine casing is also new, designed on a new engine architecture.
It has already been revealed from the spy shots that it will get an off-set mono-shock unit with new swingarm and rear suspension duties and a new tail light design. Other features include an underbelly exhaust, sharp headlight design, and large angular tank shrouds along with a muscular design on the suspension.
2024 KTM 390 Duke
The new KTM 390 Duke is likely to see the same 373 cc single-cylinder oil-cooled engine as before to generate around 45 bhp and 40 Nm of torque instead of 42.9 bhp power and 37 Nm Will be retuned. Its weight can be slightly more than the 172 kg of the current model. 390 Duke is a very popular model across the world. The new 390 Duke is expected to come with more power generating capacity than before. It is likely to get quick shifter, a bigger fuel tank, better traction, bigger brakes, new infotainment display with more features and many other features. Its price is expected to be similar to its current model at Rs 3.2 lakh.
Who will compete
This bike will compete with BMW G310R and Honda CB300R. The BMW 310 R gets a 313 cc engine, its starting price is Rs. 3.40 lakh ex-showroom.
