Kotak Mahindra Bank increased the interest rates of FD, know now how much benefit will the customers get?

Bank FD Rates: There is important news for the customers having an account in Kotak Mahindra Bank. If you have also got fixed deposit (FD interest rates) in this bank or if you have a plan to make it, then from today you will get the benefit of more interest. Kotak Mahindra Bank has increased FD interest rates (Fixed Deposite). This increase has been made on fixed deposits up to Rs 2 crore. The new rates of the bank have come into effect from today i.e. from April 12.

You will get an extra benefit of 25 basis points
According to the website of Kotak Mahindra Bank, the bank has increased the interest rates by 0.25 percent i.e. a quarter percent. Starting today, you will get an additional benefit of 25 basis points on your fixed deposits.

For how many days FD can be done?
Let us tell you that the bank is providing the facility of fixed deposits from 7 days to 10 years. In this, you will get the benefit of interest ranging from 2.50 percent to 5.60 percent. Apart from this, if we talk about senior citizens, then these people will get interest ranging from 3 percent to 6.10 percent. The bank is giving an additional benefit of 50 basis points to senior citizens.

How much interest will you get?
The bank is giving interest at the rate of 2.50 percent to the customers on FDs of 7 days to 30 days. Apart from this, interest is being available at the rate of 2.75 percent on FDs of 31 days to 90 days. Interest will be available at the rate of 3 percent on fixed deposits from 91 days to 120 days. Apart from this, interest at the rate of 3.50 percent will be available on fixed deposits from 121 days to 179 days. Apart from this, if you make a fixed deposit of 180 days to 363 days, then you will get interest at the rate of 4.50 percent.
