New Delhi. Social media platform Koo App (KOO App) has received excellent response from users in Brazil. Within 48 hours of being introduced in the Brazilian market, the Koo app has been downloaded by more than one million people. The company gave this information on Monday.
Twitter rival Kuo aims to strengthen its position internationally by making the app available in more countries and launching in multiple global languages. According to PTI, this announcement has come at a time when Twitter owner Elon Musk has shown the way out to a large number of employees, taking a massive change.
KOO is available in 11 languages
Koo said in a statement on Monday, “The Koo app, India’s multilingual micro-blogging platform, has been introduced in Brazil with the Portuguese language.” Now it is being made available in 11 original languages. The app has received an overwhelming response in Brazil with over 1 million user downloads within 48 hours of launch.”
Top in both Google Play Store and Apple App Store
Koo’s chief executive officer and co-founder Aprameya Radhakrishna said that within 48 hours of being recognized in Brazil, it topped both the Google Play Store and the Apple App Store here. This endorsement is a proof that the platform is solving the problem of native speaking users not only in India but across the world.
KOO extended a helping hand to the employees fired from Twitter
Mayank Bidawatka, co-founder of Koo, Twitter’s biggest rival in India, has said that he is looking for new people ready to join his company. He has specially invited those people who have been removed from Twitter recently. Significantly, after taking charge of the company, the new boss of Twitter, Elon Musk, has thrown many people out of the job. This also includes the staff of Twitter in India.
