The manufacturer of electric scooters Komaki has introduced a new model Komani Venice, which is made in the style of Vespa. The legendary Vespa scooter has been produced by Piaggio since April 1946 and still is.
The Komani Venice electric scooter gets a few retro styling cues from the Vespa, including a round headlight, but it comes with LED lights. The headlight also has daytime running light.
The Komani Venice electric scooter is equipped with a comfortable seat, a large windshield, a fully digital display that shows speed, battery power and other parameters. The scooter also has a storage compartment in the front where you can keep your phone, charger, documents and so on. There is also a cargo area at the back, which offers significantly more space.
While the range and top speed of the Venice electric scooter are unknown, it is reported that the scooter is powered by a 3kW electric motor paired with a 2.9kWh battery pack. The scooter is also equipped with a self-diagnostic system, reversing assistant, anti-theft locking system, regenerative braking system and a port for charging mobile devices.
The Komaki Venice will retail for $1,540 and will go on sale in India on January 26th.
