Mumbai: Electric vehicle major Kinetic Green expects revenue of Rs 600 crore from its electric two-wheeler business in the current financial year (2022-23). The Pune-based company late last month introduced its third fast-paced model, the Xing HSS scooter. Its showroom price is Rs 85,000.
It also includes the Scheme for Promotion of Manufacturing and Adoption of Electric Vehicles (FAME) subsidy. Kinetic forayed into the electric two-wheeler segment in March last year with two e-scooter models, the Xing and the Zoom.
Sulajja Firodia Motwani, Founder and CEO, Kinetic Green said that the company’s dealerships have already received bookings of 5,000 units of the new vehicles for the month of September, which is a good response.
Motwani told PTI-language that by the end of this financial year, we have a target of achieving a revenue of Rs 600 crore from the two-wheeler business. Apart from this, we are striving to be one of the leading players in this segment with a focus on scooters and a range of low speed to high speed vehicles. (agency)
