Mumbai: One of the fastest growing premium car manufacturer in the country, Kia India has introduced a wild new avatar of Sonet with Special Aurox Edition. The new edition comes with petrol and diesel engines, with prices starting from Rs 11.85 lakh. The Sonet, Kia’s second innovation in the country, is very popular with the consumers and has sold 2,41,369 units till April 2023. Amid growing demand for SUVs in the country, the Sonet sales are expected to grow further with the launch of the new Aurox edition.
Includes single-pane sunroof and rear air-conditioning vents
The new Edition comes with 6 exterior design iterations, including a wilder look with a stronger front skid plate along with tangerine accents on the signature tiger nose grille. To celebrate the successful 3-year journey of the Sonet in India, it also gets the Aurox Edition emblem on the front. The new Sonet is now available in four colors Aurora Black Pearl, Glacier White Pearl, Sparkling Silver and Gravity Grey. The Aurox Edition is modeled on the HTX trim level and is available with four engine options D1.5 6iMT, D1.5 6AT, G1.0T 6iMT and G1.0T 7DCT. Customers will continue to enjoy the Sonet’s premium signature interiors that include an 8-inch touch screen with Android and iOS connectivity interfaces, auto climate control, single-pane sunroof and rear air-conditioning vents.
One of the best selling compact SUV
The new Aurox version is powered by a 1.0-litre turbo-petrol engine that produces 120 hp/172Nm. The 1.5L diesel-turbo outputs 116hp/250Nm.
