2024 Kia Sonet Facelift Unveiled: 2024 Kia Sonet Facelift has been unveiled. Now it has received its first major update since its first launch in 2020. Its booking will start from 20 December 2023. The facelifted Sonet will be offered in seven variants namely HTE, HTK, HTK+, HTX, HTX+, GTX+ and X-Line with 11 color options. Monotone shades include Glacier White Pearl, Sparkling Silver, Gravity Grey, Aurora Black Pearl, Intense Red, Imperial Blue, Clear White, Pewter Olive and Matte Graphite. Whereas, the dual-tone option includes Intense Red and Glacier White Pearl with black roof.
If we look at the feature highlights of the 2024 Sonet, it includes a revised front fascia with inverted L-shaped LED DRL, newly designed LED headlamps, new LED fog lamps and light bar at the rear. The light bar connects both the taillights. The cabin gets a new digital instrument cluster, 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment screen, new aircon panels, voice-controlled window function and ventilated front seats. It also has ADAS Level-1, which is equipped with 10 features.
The new Sonet continues the powertrain options of the outgoing model. It has a 1.2-litre NA petrol engine, which generates 82bhp and 115Nm. There is a 1.5-litre diesel engine, which generates 114bhp and 250Nm. Apart from this, there is a 1.0-litre turbo-petrol engine, which generates 118bhp and 172Nm. There are five-speed manual, 6-speed manual, 6-speed IMT, 6-speed automatic and 7-speed DCT gearbox options for transmission.
In the market it will compete with SUVs like Maruti Brezza, Tata Nexon and Hyundai Venue. Let us tell you that after Seltos, Sonet is the second best selling car of the company. With its updated version, the company can expect further improvement in sales.
