Kia Motors dispatched 5 lakh vehicles, 1 lakh vehicles were dispatched abroad

Kia Motors has achieved this figure in just 2.5 years of commencing operations in India. The company has also launched its fourth vehicle, Carons, and with its help, the company is going to get new figures soon. Now the company currently sells a total of four vehicles which include Seltos, Sonnet, Carnival and new Carrons, all of which are getting good response from the customers.

Kia Carens has been launched

Kia Carens has been launched in India, it has been brought at a price of Rs 8.99 lakh. The Carens MPV has been brought in 5 variants Premium, Prestige, Prestige Plus, Luxury and Luxury Plus and its top variant has been priced at Rs 16.99 lakh. It has been brought with three engine options. It can be booked with an advance amount of Rs 25,000.

Through this, the company has forayed into the 6/7 seater MPV segment, with the addition of captain seats for the second row in the 6-seater. It is worth noting that the 6-seater variant will be restricted to the top-spec Luxury Plus trim. Delivery has been started at dealerships and deliveries will start soon.

This car has a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system, while its lower variant gets an 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system. Its instrument cluster is completely digital and its steering wheel feels like a Seltos. This includes new generation Kia Connect with 66 connected car features, Bose sound system with 8 speakers, 64 color ambient lighting.

Along with this, smart air purifier, ventilated front seat, multi drive mode, sunroof, paddle shifter, wireless charger, cooling cup holder, cup holder, sliding type under seat tray have been given. In terms of safety, it has 6 airbags, ESC, VSM, HAC, DBC, ABS, BAS, all-wheel disc brake, highline tire pressure monitoring system, rear parking sensor.

It has a 1.5-litre petrol engine, 1.5-litre diesel engine and 1.4-litre turbocharged petrol engine. Its 1.5-litre petrol engine will only come mated to a 6-speed manual gearbox. The 1.5-litre diesel engine is mated to a 6-speed manual gearbox or a 6-speed torque converter automatic gearbox with paddle shifters. At the same time, the turbo petrol engine has been brought only with a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic gearbox with paddle shifters.

Its 1.5 liter petrol engine gives mileage of 15.7 kmpl on manual gearbox and 16.2 kmpl on automatic gearbox. At the same time, its turbo petrol engine gives a mileage of 16.5 kmpl. Apart from this, the Kia Carens also gets a 1.5-litre diesel engine, which gives a mileage of 21.3 kmpl with manual gearbox and 18.4 kmpl with automatic gearbox.

Kia Motors has been greatly helped by Hyundai’s experience in the Indian market, due to which the company has crossed this huge figure in a few years. The company has touched this figure with only three products, now it has to be seen how the new product gets the response.
