This is Kia’s first electric car in the country. Now its price has been increased. The all-electric Kia EV6 has now become costlier by Rs 1 lakh. Earlier its GT Line RWD variant used to come at Rs. 59.95 lakhs, which has now become Rs. 60.95 lakhs costlier by Rs. 1 lakh. Whereas, the GT Line AWD variant used to cost Rs 64.95 lakhs, which has now become costlier at Rs 65.95 lakhs. That is, now its price range has increased from Rs 60.95 lakh to Rs 64.95 lakh. All these prices are ex-showroom.
About Kia EV6 Car
It is a 5-seater car, which comes in two variants – GT Line rear-wheel-drive and GT Line all-wheel-drive. It has a battery pack of 77.4 kWh. Kia claims that it can give a range of up to 708KM. Its single-motor rear-wheel-drive variant generates 229 PS power and 350 Nm torque while the dual-motor all-wheel-drive variant outputs 325 PS power and 605 Nm torque. The Kia EV6 rivals the likes of the BMW i4, Hyundai Ioniq5 and the Volvo XC40 Recharge.
It gets a dual curved 12.3-inch display for the instrument cluster and touchscreen infotainment. The car has features like 14-speaker Meridian sound system, wireless phone charging, dual zone climate control, ventilated and powered front seats, sunroof, eight airbags and electronic stability control. ADAS has also been given in the car, in which features like blind spot monitoring including automatic emergency braking, adaptive cruise control, lane-keep assist are available.
