Kia India continues to shine, creates record by exporting 1.5 lakh cars in just 3 years, Seltos-Sonette craze

South Korean car brand Kia Motors has a strong presence in the Indian market, as well as there is a bumper demand for Made in India Kia cars abroad, that is why within just 3 years, Kia India has exported 1.5 lakh cars and this record Is. Kia India’s midsize SUV Kia Seltos, compact SUV Kia Sonnet and MPV Kia Carens are the rage in the country and abroad. Kia India has announced that it has crossed the 1.5 lakh units export mark from its Anantapur manufacturing plant in Andhra Pradesh.

Celtos and sonnet craze
Kia Motors has exported a total of 1,50,395 units to 95 countries including its best selling SUVs Seltos, Sonnet and Carens since September 2019, soon after the launch of its first product in the Indian market. This achievement is in line with the company’s Make in India efforts and reinforces the vision of making world class products in India and taking them globally. Kia Seltos accounts for 72 per cent of the total exports. This was followed by the participation of the Kia Sonnet and the recently launched Carnes. The company has exported 54,153 units in the first 8 months of 2022 making it the largest Utility Vehicle (UV) exporter of the year. Kia India was also the largest UV exporter in 2021.

Utility vehicles are fast becoming popular all over the world, and we are very happy that our Made in India utility vehicles have received excellent response in the international market.
