It will be a full size SUV, which will be around 5 meters in length. Its concept version measures 4,929mm in length, 2,055mm in width and 1,790mm in height. Its wheelbase is 3,099mm.
The Kia EV9 concept has been designed on the brand’s Opposites United design philosophy. This EV can come with Kia’s digital ‘Tiger Face’ front grille, which can get a new air vent design in the front. Hood vent duct area can be used as a solar panel. Retractable roof rails can be found in it, which can be closed inside the roof of the Concept EV9 when not in use and when needed, the roof rails can be raised back with the help of a button.
In this, a camera monitoring system can be given instead of wing mirrors. The EV9 concept could get 22-inch wheels. The Kia EV9 concept could feature a large panoramic roof and a 27-inch ultra-wide display with controls for media, climate control and comfort functionality. The SUV could also be offered with a pop-up steering pad. The Kia EV9 concept is based on the modular E-GMP electric car architecture that also powers the Kia EV6, Hyundai Ioniq 5 and Ioniq 6.
There can be a bigger lithium-ion polymer battery pack with the EV6, which will be 77.4kWh. The company claims that this all-electric SUV offers a driving range of up to 483 km or 300 miles on a single charge.
