Kia Carens Mileage: Kia India organized ‘The Carens Drive’ for the customers in Delhi-NCR, which was supervised and certified by the Federation of Motor Sports Clubs of India (FMSCI). 22 Cars customers took part in the drive, which covered a distance of 84 kms. There was a competition among all to get the best mileage.
Kia Carens Mileage Test: Kia India conducted ‘The Carens Drive’ for the customers in Delhi-NCR, which was supervised and certified by the Federation of Motor Sports Clubs of India (FMSCI). 22 Cars customers took part in the drive, which covered a distance of 84 kms. There was a competition among all to get the best mileage. This drive was from Stellar Gymkhana to Jewar in Greater Noida. The drive consisted of a car of petrol and diesel powertrains mated to manual transmission and automatic transmission.
Diesel Manual Kia Carens gives highest mileage
There were at least 3 people in all the Kia Cars. Vipin Tyagi claimed a mileage of 29.8 KMPL from his diesel manual Kia Carence, which was the highest. This figure of mileage is even more than cars like Maruti Suzuki Alto and WagonR (on petrol). Also, all the participants of ‘The Carens Drive’ achieved an average mileage of 23.5 KMPL. Kia is a 7 seater car, whose market is from MPVs like Maruti Suzuki Ertiga and Toyota Innova.
Engine Options of Kia Carens
The Kia Carense is offered in three engine options, which are 1.5-litre petrol (115PS/114Nm, 6-speed manual), 1.4-litre turbo petrol (140PS/242Nm, 6-speed manual/7-speed DCT) and 1.5-litre diesel. (115PS/250Nm, 6-speed manual/6-speed automatic). This MPV gets three drive modes Eco, Normal and Sport.
