Kia Carens MPV car with 21 km average becomes expensive by Rs 50,000, know the new price

South Korean car maker Kia has increased the price of its Carens MPV in the Indian market. Launched in February, the price of Kia Carens has been increased by Rs 50,000. This is the second time the carmaker has hiked the price of the MPV, the first being in April 2022 as well. Here we are telling you how much difference has been made in which variant and engine option of Kia Carens.

The 1.5 liter petrol variant of Kia Carens has been made expensive by Rs 50,000. After the price hike, the variants are going from Rs 10 lakh to Rs 11.20 lakh ex-showroom. The 1.4 liter turbo petrol variant of Carens has received an increase of Rs 20,000. After the increase in price, the price of the variants has gone up from Rs 11.3 lakh to Rs 17.70 lakh ex-showroom. The price of 1.5 liter diesel variants of Carens has been increased by up to Rs 30,000. After the increase in price, the variants are getting from Rs 11.7 lakh to Rs 18 lakh ex-showroom.

The 1.5 liter petrol MT Premium of Carens was earlier priced at Rs 9.6 lakh, but has now gone up to Rs 10 lakh, with an increase of Rs 40,000. The price of its Prestige variants has increased from 10.7 lakhs to 11.20 lakhs, which has increased by 50 thousand.

In the 1.4 liter turbo petrol MT of Carens, the premium price has been increased from 11.2 lakhs to 11.3 lakhs, in which 10 thousand rupees have been increased. Prestige has increased from 12.4 lakhs to 10 thousand to 11.3 lakhs. Prestige Plus is available for 14 lakhs instead of 13.9 lakhs. Luxury is getting 15.45 instead of 15.3, which has become costlier by Rs 15 thousand. Luxury Plus 6 seater is getting costlier by Rs 20 thousand for 16.55 lakhs. Luxury Plus 7 seater has increased by Rs 20 thousand to Rs 16.6 lakh.

The price of Prestige Plus of Carens 1.4 liter turbo petrol DCT has been increased from 14.8 lakhs to 15 lakhs, which has increased by 20 thousand. Luxury Plus 6 seater is getting costlier by Rs 17.65 lakh instead of Rs 17.45. The Luxury Plus 7 seater is being sold for Rs 17.7 lakh instead of Rs 17.5 for Rs 20,000 more.

The carmaker offers its MPV Kia Carens with three engine options, which include 1.5 liter petrol, 1.4 liter turbo petrol and 1.5 liter diesel. The 1.5-litre petrol engine generates 113BHP of power and comes mated to a 6-speed manual gearbox. 1.4 liter petrol turbo engine generates power of 138BHP. This engine comes with 6 speed manual gearbox and 7 speed DCT. The 1.5 liter diesel engine generates power of 113BHP. This engine supports 6 speed manual transmission and 6 speed AT.
