Unofficial details have appeared online about the characteristics of three future new Sony products – the Xperia 1 VI, Xperia 10 VI and Xperia 5 VI smartphones. Insiders revealed the most information about the older model, revealing the name of its processor and the key characteristics of the rear camera.
According to the Sumahodigest portal, the flagship Sony Xperia 1 VI will receive a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor, 12/16 GB of LPDDR5X RAM and a UFS 4.0 drive (volume not reported). The rear camera of the gadget will include three 48 megapixel sensors: the main one (1/1.4″, f/1.4, 2x zoom), ultra-wide-angle (1/2.7″, 0.6 µm) and an unnamed sensor with a telephoto lens.
Insiders know less about the Xperia 5 VI model: it is credited with the same processor as the flagship of the series, no more than 8 GB of LPDDR5X RAM and a UFS 4.0 drive. In turn, the Xperia 10 V will presumably go on sale in versions with 6 and 8 GB of RAM (LPDDR5) and internal memory (UFS 3.1).
The premiere dates and prices of future new products are unknown.
