The registration process for admission to class I in Kendriya Vidyalayas (KVS) has begun from Friday. Visit the official website kvsonlineadmission.kvs.gov.in to register.

Candidates can apply online through official website https://kvsangathan.nic.in/ and kvsonlineadmission.kvs.gov.in. If any seat remains vacant, then the concerned authorities will release the 2nd and 3rd selection list on 28th April and 4th May 2023 as per the KVS Class 1 Admission schedule.

Kendriya Vidyalaya offers admission for 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th, 6th, 7th, 8th, 9th, 10th, 11th, 12th Classes. It is for the children of transferable central government employees including defense and para-military personnel.

Age to take admission in KV School :

To be eligible to apply, the student must be six years of age. He may also be born on 1st April. The first admission list will be published on March 25 and if seats remain vacant after that, the second and third lists will be announced on April 1 and 8 respectively

Before making your online registration, just make sure that the child must satisfy the eligibility conditions to take admission in KV School. For admission in class 1 the child should be minimum 5 years old as on the last date of the academic year.

The minimum and maximum age of the students according to the classes are shown in the table below. Students are advised to check the eligibility criteria before applying for KV Admission Form 2021-22.

Admission Rules in Kendriya Vidyalaya:

2. To take admission in Kendriya Vidyalaya, students have to register themselves online.
3. Registration forms will be provided by the principal free of cost.
4. The document required for admission in class 1 is the birth certificate.
5. For other classes, the date of birth as recorded in the transfer certificate issued by the school recognized by the State Education Department will be accepted.
6. Out of the total seats available for admission in class 1, 15 percent seats are reserved for SC and 7.5 percent seats are reserved for ST.
7. The reduction in the number of seats reserved for SC and ST will be worked out considering the number of SC/ST children admitted under RTE quota.
8. For admission in class 2 to class 12, parents and students can refer to the admission process notification available here.
9. All the students must compulsorily complete their online registration as soon as possible because after the last date, their forms will not be accepted at all.

• You can register for admission to two children in the same school.
• An applicant can fill the form for admission in 2nd KV where seat will be vacant he/she will get admission.
• If there is any other mistake while filling the form or some data has to be changed, then before the last date, you can re-register by going online in the form and you can also edit the mistake.
• For admission in Kendriya Vidyalayas, first the children of the Sangh Parivar are transferred to the children of the Parivar.
