Kawasaki Ninja 300, a cheap sports bike coming to the market, looks very expensive

Kawasaki Ninja 300: Kawasaki India has released the teaser of the updated Ninja 300 on its social media handle. The company is going to launch this motorcycle very soon in India with major changes for the 2022 model. This bike was updated in March last year where the engine of the bike was changed from BS4 to BS6. Kawasaki India has not yet shared the details of the bike changes, though only cosmetic changes are being expected with the new model.

2022 Ninja 300 will come in new colors!

The two-wheeler manufacturer from Japan keeps updating this bike regularly, so the 2022 Kawasaki Ninja 300 will get new color options and cosmetic changes. Apart from this, Kawasaki can also offer some new features with the bike, whose current ex-showroom price is Rs 3.37 lakh. This is the cheapest Kawasaki bike in India which is being sold in a single variant and 3 colors – Lime Green, Candy Lime Green and Ebony.

Will not get any technical changes

The company will not make any technical or design changes in the new Ninja 300. It will be paired with the same 296 cc, liquid-cooled, parallel-twin engine that makes 39 PS of power and 26.1 Nm of peak torque. The company has equipped the engine of the bike with a 6-speed gearbox which comes with slipper and assist clutch.

Steel tube built on diamond frame

The new Ninja 300 is built on a steel tube diamond frame and gets 37 mm telescopic forks at the front and gas charged monoshock suspension at the rear. Both the front and rear wheels get disc brakes which come with dual piston calipers. The motorcycle has been given 17-inch alloy wheels.

The new ninja is also strong in features

Basic semi-digital instrument console, LED lighting and dual-channel ABS have been given with the bike. The Ninja 300 is being developed exclusively in India and will compete with the entry-level TVS Apache RR 310 and KTM RC 390. It is expected that Kawasaki India will increase the price of the new motorcycle marginally.
