Kabira KM3000 deliveries start from February 2022, know the range, features

The company says that these electric bikes have been given combi brakes, best in class range, fast charging facility and are similar to other IC engine bikes. The KM3000 is powered by a 6 kW DeltaEV BLDC motor and the KM 4000 is powered by an 8 kW DeltaEV BLDC motor, with battery packs of 4 kWh and 4.4 kWh. Kabira Mobility claims that the bike offers a range of 120 km in Eco mode. In sports mode, the bike achieves a top speed of 100 km/h respectively, reducing their range by 60 km.

The design of this bike is quite aerodynamic. Features like LED headlamps, LED tail lamps, dual disc brakes, fast charging, full digital instrument cluster, smartphone connectivity have been provided in both the bikes. If the bike breaks down on the way, the company also provides roadside assistance to fix it. Talking about the Kabira KM3000, it gets a ground clearance of 170 mm and a seat height of 830 mm.

The total weight of this bike is 130 kg. Kabira KM3000 gets a single disc brake with simple telescopic fork suspension at the front and monoshock at the rear, with two charging modes – Eco and Boost. In Eco mode, the bike is fully charged in 6 hours 30 minutes while in Boost mode it takes only 50 minutes to charge up to 80 percent.

Kabira Mobility has been manufacturing electric bikes since 2018 and the company is going to bring many new models for its customers this year. The company wants to increase its influence in the electric vehicle sector, for this the company is dependent on e-commerce and dealership model. The company’s headquarter is located in Goa and the company produces vehicles in Goa and Dharwad, Karnataka.

Within a few hours of the launch, bookings for 5,000 units of both the bikes were registered. Due to high demand, the company had to stop booking. However, the company has said that it will soon start booking the second phase. The company is also looking at expanding its dealerships as production ramps up. The company is opening its dealerships and service centers in big cities as well as small towns.

Indigenous electric vehicle manufacturer Kabira Mobility has delivered KM3000 and KM4000 bikes to Goa Police. These electric bikes were handed over by the company to DGP of Goa Police Mukesh Kumar Meena. The company has said that in the next few months, the police of other states of the country will also be handed over electric bikes soon.
