Maruti Suzuki Upcoming Cars: Maruti Suzuki has started improving the safety of its cars starting with its 2022 Maruti Suzuki Baleno. The addition of side and curtain airbags was an important step in this episode. In such a situation, it is now believed that the company can soon include 6 airbags in the rest of the cars. Maruti plans to launch eight cars for 2020, starting with the Maruti Suzuki Baleno.
2022 Maruti Vitara Brezza
The new Maruti Vitara Brezza is slated to be launched soon and the company will include 6 airbags after the Baleno, like the rest of its rival vehicles like the Kia Sonet, Hyundai Venue and Mahindra XUV300. The XUV300 is getting 7 airbags. Apart from this, the company will give a generation update in this subcompact SUV and it will get features like 360-degree camera, an electric sunroof and paddle shifters with new features.
Maruti Suzuki Ciaz
Maruti Ciaz is the only sedan in the premium sedan segment to not have 6 airbags. While 6 airbags are being provided in the top models of Hyundai Verna, Honda City, Skoda Slavia and Volkswagen Virtus. However, as the facelift version, some additional features will also be included in this vehicle along with airbags.
Maruti Suzuki S-Cross
Recently its new avatar has been introduced in the UK and the new Suzuki S-Cross will be launched in the Indian market soon. As of the 2022 model, it will get enhanced safety curtains and front side airbags, which will be a standard in the compact crossover space. In the Indian market, this vehicle will compete with Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos, Volkswagen Taigun and Skoda Kushaq.
Maruti Suzuki Ertiga/XL6
The company will soon include 6 airbags in the Ertiga and XL6. The car competes closely with Kia Carens which is offering 6 airbags from the base model itself. Both the models are to come with a facelift version as well as new styling and more features will also be given.
As 6 airbags will be included in all premium cars of Maruti, similarly the company will take full care of safety in the upcoming Creta Killer. The name of this vehicle has not been disclosed yet, but in the Indian market, it will face tough competition from Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos, Skoda Kushaq, and Volkswagen Taigun, which are being provided with good safety features.
