What is IIT JEE?
JEE Mains 2025 is a national examination conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA). If you want to take admission in any top college of the country including IIT, NIT, then you will have to pass this exam first. This year this examination is being conducted in two sessions. The first session will be held from January 22 to January 30, 2025. About 13.8 lakh candidates have applied for this examination.
When will the admit cards be released?
As per the official schedule, JEE MAIN admit card will be released a few days before the exam. After the admit card is issued, you can download the admit card by entering the necessary details. When you go to the official website and enter your registration number, you will see your admit card. Candidates can check their admit card by entering the necessary details on the portal.
Easy process to download admit card
- First of all go to the official website www.jeemain.nta.nic.in.
- Go to the home page and click on the admit card link.
- After this you will have to enter your login credentials.
- You have to enter your registration number and password (or date of birth) in the login credentials.
- After this you will have to fill the captcha.
- As soon as you submit the captcha, you will see JEE Mains Admit Card 2025 on the screen.
- Download it, take a printout and keep it safe until the exam is over.
JEE Mains 2025 exam is scheduled to be held from January 22 to January 31, 2025. Candidates are advised to check the date and time of the examination correctly.

Important documents to carry with JEE Mains Admit Card 2025
- Along with JEE Mains Admit Card 2025, candidates will also have to bring some other documents to the exam center for verification.
- Photocopy of Aadhar Card or valid ID proof – It can be passport, voter ID card, or any ID card issued by the government.
- Passport size photograph: Please carry a passport size photograph along with the admit card.
- PwD Certificate (if applicable): Disabled candidates must bring PwD certificate.
Instructions issued for the day of main examination
- Candidates will have to reach the examination center at least 1 hour before the commencement time of the examination to complete all the formalities.
- You cannot use mobile phones, calculators or other devices in the examination hall.
- Wear comfortable clothes. Avoid wearing metal items or clothes with big buttons.
- To avoid last minute hassles, you should know your examination center in advance.
