JBL has announced Tour Pro 2 miniature wireless earbuds that the company claims come with the world’s first smart charging case. The compact case, which has become a familiar accessory for wireless headphones, the JBL Tour Pro 2 is equipped with a 1.45-inch touch screen. The screen allows you to manage headphone settings, music, as well as receive calls, messages and notifications from social networks without having to take out your smartphone. The JBL Tour Pro 2 headphones are equipped with 10mm drivers and six microphones, support active noise canceling technology and can work up to 10 hours on a single charge and up to 40 hours when charged with a case.
A more familiar model was also announced – JBL Tour One M2 full-size wireless headphones. This device is the successor to the original JBL Tour One, but with extended battery life when using active noise cancellation (30 hours versus 25 hours for its predecessor) and support for Bluetooth 5.3. Overall battery life remains at 50 hours, although the quick charge feature will provide 5 hours of use after plugging into a power source for just 10 minutes.
The JBL Tour Pro 2 wireless headphones will cost $249 and the Tour One M2 will cost $299. Both models will be available in black and champagne and will be available from January 2023.
