Jawa Updates Perak and 42 Bobber for 2024
Jawa Motorcycles has refreshed its popular Perak and 42 Bobber models for 2024. Let’s explore the updates for each bike:
Jawa Perak
- New Stealth Dual-Tone Paint: The Perak receives a new stealth dual-tone paint scheme that maintains the bike’s signature dark theme.
- Enhanced Comfort: The most significant update for the Perak is the repositioned footpegs. They’ve been moved forward by 155mm, similar to the 42 Bobber, for improved rider comfort.
- Brass Accents: The fuel cap and tank badge now feature brass detailing for a touch of elegance.
Powertrain and Braking Remain Unchanged
The 2024 Jawa Perak retains its proven performance with the 334cc, liquid-cooled, single-cylinder engine producing 29.9 hp and 30 Nm torque. The braking system also remains the same, featuring a 280mm front disc and a 240mm rear disc with dual-channel ABS.

The ex-showroom price of the updated Jawa Perak remains at Rs 2.13 lakh.
Jawa 42 Bobber Update
The 2024 Jawa 42 Bobber receives a minor update with the addition of alloy wheels, replacing the previous spoke wheels. This enhances the bike’s aesthetics without any changes to its performance or price. The ex-showroom price of the 42 Bobber starts from Rs 2.10 lakh and goes up to Rs 2.30 lakh depending on the variant.
