In fact, a major incident came to light in Balochistan province of Pakistan on Tuesday, when the separatist organization Baloch Liberation Army (BLA) attacked the Jafar Express train and claimed to hijack it.

A passenger facing the attack shared his scary experience. He told that after hearing the blasts and bullets in the train, the passengers came in panic and lay down on the floor to save their lives. Eyewitnesses said that people were lying on the train, we also lay down to save our lives. There was some firing outside, blast.

Then it was said that you guys get down. Those people said that when I get down, I got down. I thought, what will you do if we come in and start killing? My children and wife were released and let us go, but we were told not to look back.

Eyewitness further explained that when the train reached the attack, there was a strong explosion. After this, the rebels entered the train and started taking out the passengers. Some people were released, while they took the rest with them.

The train going from Quetta to Peshawar had about 500 passengers, out of which more than 200 people have been claimed to be held hostage. During the attack, the passengers in the train faced horrific moments, in which the sounds of firing and blasts echoed.

How did the attack?

On Tuesday morning, when the Jafar Express reached the tunnel number 8 in the hilly areas of Gudra and Piru Kunri, suddenly armed rebels surrounded the train. In a pre -planned manner, the rebels blew the railway track with explosives, derailing the train. After this, the terrorists started firing indiscriminately on the train, causing panic among the passengers.

BLA claims – Army and intelligence agency people hostage

Taking responsibility for the attack, the Baloch Liberation Army (BLA) claimed that it had taken over 200 passengers hostage. According to him, these hostages include Pakistan’s security forces personnel and intelligence agency people. However, no official confirmation of this claim has been made by the Government of Pakistan and the Army.

Panic among passengers, administration silence

After the incident, the passengers present in the train are in deep shock, the people who were released are also unable to forget this horrific scene. However, not much information has been shared by the Government of Pakistan about this hijacking, due to which there is confusion about the situation.
