It became known how many cars China delivered to Russia in 2022

Chinese Ambassador to Russia Zhang Hanhui said in an interview with Izvestia that last year more than 160,000 cars were delivered to Russia from China, and the share of Chinese brands in the Russian car market increased from 7% to 19.2%.

He added that the total trade turnover between Russia and China in monetary terms reached a record $190.27 billion last year, up 29.3% compared to 2021.

Cooperation in such fields as automobiles, household appliances, consumer electronics has reached a rapid development. Last year, China exported 162,000 cars to Russia, growing by 33.4% over the year, the share of Chinese brands in the Russian market rapidly increased from 7% to 19.2%, and cooperation models between enterprises were diversified.

Earlier, dealers predicted that in 2023, sales of Chinese brands in Russia would grow significantly and reach 250,000 vehicles.
