Hyundai Exter Knight Edition: The country’s largest carmaker Hyundai Motor India has introduced its Knight Edition in India on the occasion of the anniversary of its compact SUV Exter. The new edition is completely in an all black theme. Exter continues to grow in its segment. In India, it directly competes with Tata Punch. So let’s know what is special and new in the night edition of Actor…..and is it really value for money?

The Knight Edition of the Hyundai Exter has been brought in two variants. It will be available in manual and AMT gearbox options. The ex-showroom price of the SX variant is Rs 8.38 lakh while the ex-showroom price of its SX (O) variants has been kept at Rs 9.70 lakh. The AMT gearbox variant is priced at Rs 9.05 lakh, while the top-spec variant is priced at Rs 10.43 lakh.

Is there power in the engine?

Hyundai has not made any changes to the engine of the Xter Knight Edition. It gets a 1.2-litre naturally aspirated engine that generates 81bhp and 113Nm of torque. It comes with a 5 speed manual and an AMT transmission option. This engine installed in the car is strong.

What is special in Knight Edition?

The Knight Edition of Hyundai Exter comes with an all black paint scheme which makes it look really beautiful. Its exterior and interior also have a black theme. Along with the black color, red color inserts are seen on many parts of it. Talking about the exterior, red color inserts are seen on its front bumper, rear tailgate, front brake calipers, skid plate.

The special thing is that Hyundai’s logo has also been given black color along with the Knight Edition’s badging and exter. Apart from this, red footwell lighting, red color inserts are also seen on the seat and mats in the interior of the car. Hyundai has tried to woo customers of the Gen Z class through this new edition.

Is Knight Edition of Exstar a value for money?

Hyundai’s Night Edition does not get very good features. Its price is also very high. There are no changes to the engine. In such a situation, buying this edition with only some cosmetic updates is not a beneficial deal.
