Why was this rule needed?
IRCTC account has lakhs of users across the country, out of which thousands of people have not booked tickets online since the start of the corona epidemic. Get this verification done
Go to the IRCTC app or website and click on the verification window.
- Here you enter your registered mobile number and E-mail ID, then click on Verify.
- After this OTP will come on your mobile, enter it and verify the mobile number.
- Verify your mail mail id after entering the code on the same e-mail id.
- Now you can book tickets online for any train from your account.
24 tickets can be made in 1 month
Railways has increased the limit for booking maximum tickets in a month on one user ID of IRCTC from 12 to 24. If your Aadhar Card is Aadhar Card Link User ID, then now you can book 24 tickets in a month. Similarly, 12 tickets can be booked instead of 6 from the account with which Aadhaar UID is not linked.
