Iranian cars are already in Russia. It became known how much they ask for a competitor Lada Vesta – IKCO Tara

According to Gazeta.Ru, IKCO Tara sedans, produced by the largest Iranian automaker Iran Khodro, went on sale in Russia. The sale was started by a Russian dealer who posted ads on thematic resources and on his website.

The IKCO Tara 2022 brought and cleared by customs is located at the dealer’s parking lot in the city of Dzerzhinsky near Moscow. One owner is entered in the TCP, the car is manufactured in 2022, and its cost is 1 million 770 thousand rubles.

Even the basic equipment here turned out to be richer than that of the basic Lada Vesta. It includes two frontal airbags (for driver and passenger), air conditioning, cruise control, rear parking sensors, a multimedia system and alloy wheels. The Iranian sedan is equipped with a 113-horsepower 1.6-liter gasoline naturally aspirated engine, as well as a six-speed automatic and front-wheel drive.

IKCO Tara is the Iranian version of the French Peugeot 301. It is slightly larger than the Hyundai Solaris, its dimensions are 4519, 1953 and 1466 millimeters respectively, and the trunk volume is 640 liters.

Iran Khodro is due to start shipping Tara to Russia in the first quarter of 2023, while the model will be changed for our market. The rear lights and a number of trim elements will change, as well as cameras and heated seats.
