Well-known analyst Ming-Chi Kuo said on his Twitter page that all iPhone 15 series smartphones will receive USB-C connectors, as required by the new EU rules.
He stated in his post that the wired transmission speed of the new new smartphones will increase substantially. Suppliers such as Parade, Xiangshuo, Genesys, Renesas and others will be the main beneficiaries of this innovation.
He noted that only the iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max will be equipped with a high-speed connector, while the iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Plus will have USB-C with wired transfer speeds like Lightning (USB 2.0).
I predict that the iPhone 15 Pro and 15 Pro Max will support at least USB 3.2 or Thunderbolt 3. This specification update means that wired transfer and video output user experience will improve significantly.
The iPhone 15 line should be presented in September next year.
