iPhone 15 Pro Max will not have any buttons: Report

iPhone 15: Apple can make many major changes in its iPhone 15 series. The company is removing the Lightning port from iPhones in favor of USB Type C. All models are said to come with Apple’s new Dynamic Island feature and the variant is believed to get a 48-megapixel rear camera. Now, a reliable tipster, Ice Universe has claimed on Twitter that the iPhone 15 Pro Max or the iPhone 15 Ultra could come without any buttons, which would be a great design change if Apple is indeed planning to implement it.

The renders have also shared that the flagship phone will feature solid-state haptic buttons. USB C port can also be seen instead of Lightning port. The update will make it easier for everyone to use any charger, as long as the company doesn’t limit compatibility to MFi-certified charging cables, which some leaks are suggesting. On the front, there will be a dual punch-hole display design, similar to what we saw on last year’s iPhone 14 series.

Analyst Ming-Chi-Kuo also recently claimed that the iPhone 15 Pro model may not have any buttons. The new solid-state buttons will help respond to users’ touches without a person having to press the button, similar to the Home button design seen on the iPhone 7, iPhone 8, and some other models.

If we talk about the previous launch, then the iPhone 15 series is expected to be launched in September or October this year. So, we are still a long way away from the launch event. The company is expected to announce four models including the iPhone 15, iPhone 15 Pro, and iPhone 15 Plus. The fourth could be called either the iPhone 15 Ultra or the Pro Max. There is no confirmation on this yet.
