Investors can invest in Rainbow Children’s Medicare IPO from today, know the price band and GMP

Rainbow Children Medicare IPO: The IPO of Hyderabad-based multi-specialty pediatric hospital chain Rainbow Children’s Medicare Limited has opened from today and investors can invest in this IPO till April 29, 2022.

What is IPO size and price band
Rainbow Children Medicare plans to raise Rs 1,581 crore from the market through IPO. The company has fixed a price band of Rs 516-542 per share. At the same time, the company is giving a discount of Rs 20 per share to its employees. In this IPO of Rs 1580 crore, Rs 280 crore is being raised as a fresh issue. At the same time, the promoters and investors of the company are selling 2.4 crore shares for offer for sale, from which Rs 1300 crore will be raised.

What is GMP
In the gray market, Rainbow Children Medicare Limited is currently trading at a premium of Rs.15 only. However, it is believed that it may accelerate.

35% quota for retail investors
Investors can apply in Rainbow Children’s Medicare IPO in a minimum of 27 equity shares and multiples thereof. Retail investors can apply for a maximum limit of Rs 2 lakh. At the same time, employees of the company can apply for shares up to Rs 5 lakh. A 50 percent quota reserve has been kept for institutional investors in the IPO. 35 percent quota has been kept for retail investors and 15 percent for non-institutional investors.

Better response from anchor investors
According to multi-specialty pediatric hospital chain Rainbow Children’s Medicare Ltd, the company has raised around Rs 470 crore from anchor investors ahead of the initial public offering (IPO). According to the information given on the BSE website, the company has decided to allot a total of 8,663,404 equity shares at Rs 542 to anchor investors. The company has raised Rs 469.55 crore from anchor investors.

Veteran investors invested
Anchor investors include the Government of Singapore, Monetary Authority of Singapore, Amansa Holdings, Goldman Sachs (Singapore) Pte and IIFL Special Opportunities Fund. Also, Bajaj Allianz Life Insurance Company, Max Life Insurance Company, HDFC Life Insurance Company, SBI Mutual Fund (MF), Axis MF, Nippon India MF, DSP MF, Aditya Birla Sun Life MF, UTI MF HSBC MF and Motilal Oswal MF has been shared in the anchor round.

Hospitals in 6 cities
Kotak Mahindra Capital, IIFL Securities and JP Morgan are the book running lead managers of the IPO. Rainbow Children’s Medicare has 14 hospitals with 1500 beds in 6 cities.
